United States, 20 Dollars, 1907

a.
This coin design was reworked by Charles Barber, the U.S. Mint chief engraver after Augustus St. Gaudens's death. Barber lowered the relief to make the coin more easily produced, and changed the date from Roman numerals to the Arabic numbers seen here.

b.
Perhaps in memory of his deceased colleague, Charles Barber retained the monogram of Augustus Saint-Gaudens on his redesigned coin.
