Object 11 [of 66] – Rooster Award
Julia received hundreds of awards and honors during her career, from Emmy's for her television cooking shows to the French Legion D'Honneur for her contributions to the reputation of French culinary tradition. She most appreciated the many acknowledgements given her for her achievements in teaching cooking. This glass rooster, the Prix Charbonnier, was given her by an organization in recognition of her contributions in raising public awareness of French cuisine and culture.
