Object 30 [of 66] – Mouli food mill

The food mill (or Mouli) is a late 19th century invention designed to do some of the customary and difficult tasks of pureeing foods in traditional cuisine. In spite of her early and enthusiastic adoption of the blender and food processor, Julia still used the Mouli, with its variable blades, for some tasks.
