Automated in 1963; active aid to navigation

Light characteristic:
Alternating 6-seconds white, 6-seconds dark, visible for 9 nautical miles; fog signal 2 blasts every 30 seconds

Notes:
The Pond Island Light island is managed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service as a bird refuge.
