General History

Bombardier followed the movie trend for showing valiant men going off to war. In this 1943 film, a group of men learn to be bomber pilots. Bombardier was nominated for a Best Special Effects Academy Award. In much the same way as graphic posters were used to encourage patriotism and the war effort, movies were also used to encourage the war effort at home.
