Re-stocked Long Land pattern Brown Bess musket, .80 caliber, lockplate marked Jordan, dated 1746.

General History

The metal parts of this musket were made by Edward Jordan of Birmingham, England in 1746. The original wooden stock was replaced with the distinctive club butt stock of the Massachusetts colony.
