Model. Dimensions: 5-1/2"L x 2-3/4"W x 5"H. Materials: wood and metal. Inscription: "De Witt Clinton". Color: boiler is black; locomotive, coach frames, and tender are green; and coach bodies are yellow.

History

The DeWitt Clinton made its first run on August 9, 1831. However, it proved to be unsuccessful and was scrapped for piecemeal between 1832 and 1836.

Original Model: Weight: 4 tons. Cylinder: 5-1/2” diameter x 16” stroke. Driving Wheels: 54” diameter.
