Description:

Black and white print; a bull "John Bull" armed with a rifle and dressed in pantaloons stands in a body of water that is suppose to represent the Atlantic Ocean. In front of him are six ducks labeled the "Aquatic Expedition" swiming toward the American shore on the right. Abobe an American flag on the right is a caricature of Andrew Jackson with an eagle body and several eaglets that use the flag as a nest. Below Jackson is a snake. King Louis Philippe of France, in the form of a crow, is on the left shore, standing on a crate containing a duck, and alongside of a turkey, a frog and a bay chick. Additional dialog and phrases appear on the print and make reference to the French spoilation claims of 25,000,000 francs that were collected in 1835 by the French legislature, after Jackson offers an apology.
