Description:

Black and white print; image depicts a number of symbols centered around a hill. These include an eagle in the center clutching lightening bolts, a shield of stripes, a banner reading "E Pluribus Unum," three unfurled flags, a liberty cap on a trident, a cannon, a document labeled "Declaration of Rights," a horn of plenty, a couple of barrels, a palm tree and an elm tree, an anchor, a sythe, a harrow, fasces, and two packages. Rays of light emanate from the central image. A sailing ship is anchored in the right background; the left background contains an open-air classical rotunda (peristyle perhaps symbolic of a "Temple of Liberty") topped by a statue. .
