World Trade Center tourist souvenirs
Description: This collection of World Trade Center tourist souvenirs was recovered from the debris of the World Trade Center. Context: As the tallest buildings in a city of tall buildings, the Twin Towers were an icon of capitalism and a major tourist destination. Every day, thousands of visitors purchased tickets and boarded the large express elevator to the observation deck located on the 107th floor of the south tower.
