ID Cards
Description: Three identification cards belonging to Dr. Paul Wesley Ambrose, they were recovered with his remains in the Pentagon debris. Context: At the time of his death, Dr. Ambrose was serving as a fellow in preventative health at the US Department of Health and Human Services. Paul was a dedicated medical professional, and in the capacity of he fellowship had been a senior editor of The Surgeon’s General’s Call To Action To Prevent and Decrease Overweight and Obesity. Paul had previously earned his M.D. and completed a residency in family medicine, and had also completed a master’s degree in public health. On September 11, 2001, Paul boarded Flight 77 to Los Angeles, intending to attend a conference on preventing youth obesity.
