"There is a kind of optimism about human nature that comes through..."
I've seen scrapbooks over the course of my career that are usually related to happier things. I'm not aware of one that is so filled with death and destruction, but it does - One of the remarkable things about it is that Michelle Guyton's religious faith brings her to an understanding of these events, and she is actually kind of working through it all by the time she gets to the end of the volume. There is a kind of optimism about human nature that comes through, that is quite a remarkable part of this testimony.
