So what I came back with were the rakes, two rakes. Before the dirt is loaded onto the conveyor belts there are debris fields where the material is spread out. But they were using rakes and pitchforks to do this, to pick through the material. I took their pictures, and on my last trip I collected one of these rakes and one of the pitchforks that they used to work the debris fields. That debris work is over, but the honor they were giving to the people, the work they were doing is represented by these hand tools.
