"...she was there directing people to the restaurant when the plane hit..."
A woman's black jacket and dress from one of the two people employed by Windows on the World who survived September 11. She was a greeter on the 78th floor, the sky deck of Tower 1, directing patrons from one elevator to the Windows elevator. So she was there directing people to the restaurant when the plane hit, shaking her and the building of course but forcing her to flee, and through all the smoke and mess and confusion she kept her Windows on the World lapel pin and her entire outfit intact, and has now donated that to us, through the owner of the restaurant.
