Original construction:
Brown conical cast-iron tower on black cylindrical caisson

Rebuilds:
1982: deteriorated cast-iron tower is replaced by 33-foot white fiberglass tower on original caisson
1983: 33-foot brown fiberglass tower replaces white tower

Status:
active aid to navigation

Light characteristic:
Alternating white and red flashes every 10 seconds, red visible for 11 nautical miles; fog signal, 1 blast every 10 seconds
