Original construction:
30-foot stone tower

Rebuilds:
1890: present 36-foot white brick conical tower, covered way to dwelling.

Status:
electrified in 1897; automated in 1985; active aid to navigation

Light characteristic:
flashing white every 5 seconds, visible for 24 nautical miles
