25-foot rubblestone tower

Rebuilds:
1846: new house and tower at nearby site
1891: present 45-foot cylindrical brick tower on stone foundation

automated in 1976; active aid to navigation

Light characteristic:
White light occulting every four seconds with red sector, visible for 10 nautical miles; fog signal 1 blast every 30 seconds
