Original construction:
30-foot stone tower

Rebuilds:
1947: well water available
1949: indoor plumbing installed

Status:
Automated in 1959; active aid to navigation

Light characteristic:
Flashing white every 4 seconds, visible for 9 nautical miles

Notes:
The Eagle Island Light tower keepers and their families had no well water until 1947, or indoor plumbing until 1949.
