Longitude: 68 deg 56 min 35 sec W
Height above sea level: 28 feet

Original construction:
28-foot tower

Rebuilds:
1874: 39-foot brick tower

Status:
Active aid to navigation; extinguished in 1934 and replaced by a light nearby on a skeleton tower; keeper's house became Sailor's Memorial Museum; light relit in 1987

Light characteristic:
Flashing green every 4 seconds visible for 5 nautical miles
