Longitude: 67 deg 11 min 31 sec W
Height above sea level: 57 feet

Original construction:
stone lighthouse tower with attached keeper's house

Rebuilds:
1876: 35-foot conical brick-lined cast iron tower

Status:
Automated in 1975; active aid to navigation;: replaced by light on skeleton tower in 1980; lighthouse reactivated in 2001 after restoration by American Lighthouse Foundation

Light characteristic:
White flash every 6 seconds, visible for 13 nautical miles; fog signal, 1 blast every 10 seconds
