Latitude: 41 deg 13 min 39 sec N
Longitude: 71 deg 34 min 32 sec W
Height above sea level: 58 feet

Original construction:
45-foot towers on opposite ends of building

Rebuilds:
1837: new twin light towers built inland from original site
1857: new light built at same site
1867: present 52-foot brown iron tower on gray-granite dwelling 700 yards from original

Status:
automated in 1956; discontinued 1973 - 1989; active aid to navigation

Light characteristic:
Flashing white every 5 seconds, visible for 13 nautical miles
