Longitude: 71 deg 19 min 37 sec W
Height above sea level: 33 feet

Original construction:
25-foot stone tower

Rebuilds:
1842: new breakwater built with present 29-foot tower at its end
1851: original tower moved to Prudence Island
1864: new keepers house attached to lighthouse

Status:
electrified in 1922; automated in 1963

Light characteristic:
fixed green light visible for 11 nautical miles
