Year established: 1855
Latitude: 43 deg 3 min 56 sec N
Longitude: 87 deg 52 min 17 sec W
Height above sea level: 154 feet

Original construction:
Approximately 30-foot octagonal cast-iron tower with staggered portholes and rectangular windows up the sides

Rebuilds:
1888: tower was moved inland to present location
1913: current 74-foot tower was created to clear obstructing trees by lifting original tower atop a steel base built next to it

Status:
deactivated in 1994
