Height above sea level: 110 feet

Original construction:
Current brown octagonal, 110-foot pyramidal skeleton tower, enclosing white stair cylinder and octagonal dwelling on pile foundation.

Status:
in 1968 became part of Biscayne National Monument; automated in 1974; electrified in 1975; active aid to navigation

Light characteristic:
flashing white every 10 seconds with two red sectors, white light visible for 15 nautical miles, red visible for 10 nautical miles
