Original construction:
stone tower

Rebuilds:
1835: present 38-foot stone lighthouse

Status:
Automated in 1934; active aid to navigation; surrounding property now Lighthouse Park; keeper's house is Fishermen's Museum

Light characteristic:
Flashing white every 6 seconds, visible for 14 nautical miles

Notes:
The Pemaquid Point Light was the first in Maine to be automated.
