Link Aviation Devices, Inc., specialized in the production of aviation
trainers, but also made aircraft sextants for the Army during World War II. The
A-11 was a single-shot instrument. The A-12 was a multi-shot instrument equipped with a median device. Both were rugged and inexpensive, light, compact, mechanically simple, and ergonomic.
