Shackman
David Shackman began in business in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England, in the 1930s, producing custom made fine jewelry. At the start of World War II, now trading as David Shackman & Sons, the firm began making sextants and bombsights for the armed forces. It began making cameras in the post-war period, and was purchased by Anamax, Ltd., in 1993.
