Plath

Carl Christian Plath began in business in Hamburg in 1862, and was soon the leading German manufacturer of navigational instruments. The firm was acquired by Litton Industries in 1962, and became part of Sperry Marine in 1997. Northrup Grumman acquired Sperry Marine in 2001.
