CONTEXT
"This chest of drawers was a wedding gift to the couple when they were married in Tule Lake -- 1943, from Yoshio Nakai (a relative of Kumao) presently residing in San Francisco....This is the only piece of furniture brought out of camp by the couple and used for over 42 years.
Teruko Yamashita is the daughter of the late M/M Yasuto Togami, formerly of Auburn, Washington, whose family lived in Block 52, Tule Lake, coming into camp via Pinedale Assembly Center.
Kumao, son of the late M/M Matsutaro Yamashita, early Issei pioneers of Concord, CA whose family lived in Block 51 of Tule Lake."
