TITLE Field Chaplain's kit DESCRIPTION Field Chaplain's kit Silver cross and candlesticks, bullet-proof Bible. Bible embossed with the words "May This Shield and Protect You." Silver. 10 1/2" H x 4 3/4" W (3 5/8" W at base) CONTEXT Chaplain Masao Yamada, chaplain to the Third Battalion 442d Regimental Combat Team, carried this silver cross with him during the war.
