TITLE Loudspeaker, Ken Yasui DESCRIPTION Loudspeaker, Ken Yasui Original caption: "Sergeant Kenneth Yasui, a recipient of the Silver Star, uses a loudspeaker as he tries to coax Japanese troops into surrendering." CONTEXT "T/3 Kenny Yasui of Los Angeles was discharged from the Army after Pearl Harbor because he was educated in Japan. When the Army called for linguists, Yasui volunteered, was sent to Burma with an Office of War Information unit to wage psychological warfare.
