CONTEXT
"T/3 Kenny Yasui of Los Angeles was discharged from the Army after Pearl Harbor because he was educated in Japan. When the Army called for linguists, Yasui volunteered, was sent to Burma with an Office of War Information unit to wage psychological warfare. He was decorated for swimming out to an island to capture Japanese soldiers."
