TITLE High school artist in front of mural, "Evacuation" DESCRIPTION High school artist in front of mural (2) "Evacuation" Teruyo Kishi in front of portion of mural depicting arrangements for belongings and evacuation. 17 years old, grade 10A CONTEXT These large murals were painted by high school students at Rohwer Relocation Center. They show "the history" of relocation from their homes in California to a camp of more than 10,000 people built in the lowlands of Arkansas between the Mississippi River and the White River.
