Discussion:
This cross, closed and cylindrical, has a silver band that is graduated to degrees, and read by vernier to 2 minutes. There are two slits on the lower part of the cylinder, and four on the upper part. Edouard Lutz was in business in Paris in the second half of the 19th century.
